This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for LinkMagik subscriptions and fees. It expands on Section 6 of our Terms of Service and forms part of those Terms. For how cancellation and account deletion work, see the Terms; for billing prices, see our pricing page.
There is one guaranteed refund, and everything else is considered case by case:
The sections below spell each of these out.
This covers the common "I meant to cancel and forgot" situation. To qualify:
Any refund request that isn't the 7-day unintended-renewal case above is handled at LinkMagik's sole discretion. This includes, for example:
We review these individually and may grant a full, partial, or prorated refund, or decline, based on the circumstances. Where we approve a prorated annual refund, the higher-tier features stop working at the point of the refund. Granting one discretionary refund does not obligate us to grant another.
Managed custom domains (included with Business, and available to Premium as an annual-only add-on) carry a one-time setup fee of $25, which is non-refundable. This fee covers the cost of registering and configuring the domain on your behalf, which we incur as soon as the work is done. The non-refundable setup fee is separate from your subscription charge, which remains subject to Sections 2 and 3 above.
For the guaranteed unintended-renewal refund (Section 2), use the refund option in your billing settings within 7 days of the charge — it's processed automatically, with no need to contact us. For all discretionary requests (Section 3), reach us through our contact page; to help us act quickly, please include the email on your account, the approximate date and amount of the charge, and a short note on the reason.
When we issue a refund, it is returned to the original payment method; the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider. A refund of a subscription charge ends that subscription and the related paid access. Published trees and content then follow the freeze and grace-period rules in the Terms of Service — nothing is permanently deleted without notice.
If you think a charge is wrong or refundable, please use the refund request process above before opening a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card provider. We resolve legitimate billing issues directly and quickly — including the guaranteed 7-day refund — so a dispute generally isn't necessary. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us are governed by the chargeback terms in Section 7 of the Terms of Service.
Questions about this Refund Policy, or a refund request, can be sent through our contact page or to [CONTACT EMAIL], or by mail to [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [ADDRESS].
